Darkling

       

The Darkling is a demon of the Forest of Dark, and his purpose is to capture 100 people with his fog, so he can cover the Realm in Winds of Darkness forever. When he meets the Young Ones, he only needs 3 more victims, and the first one is Hank!

His mortal enemy is a woman called Martha, (though it is never explained why) and she defeats him with her light before he can take his last victim.

Giant

      

This giant lives at the top of a stone beanstalk, has a pet Slimebeast called Willie, and likes to collect Golden eggs (the eggs of the Golden Dragon).

He has a strong (some would even say Brooklyn) accent, making him a New York Giant.

Hector the Halfling

        

One of Venger's disguises, Hector guided the Young Ones to the Hall of Bones, only to transform back into Venger to claim the weapons of power as payment. Also had the annoying habit of pretending to be a Cheshire Cat.

Kawamung

       

Originally a mere Bogbeast, Kawamung acquired a magical amulet that transformed him into an evil giant. Then he damned up the River that Rains Upside-down, starving his Bogbeast bretherin, and forced Dwarf slaves to work for him.

The Young Ones managed to take the amulet away, and thuse the source of his power.

Kelek

       

Technically, a "servant" of Venger, Kelek disliked his "Master" so much that he decided to oust him by acquiring the power of Teleportation (which is described as the "ultimate power in the Universe") from the last herd of Unicorns in the Realm by magically removing their alicorns (horns!).

His evil plot was foiled when the Young Ones and Venger teamed up; and he was banished by Venger into an underground prison.

He had a fantastic Castle that he kept under a field of thorns, and was usually to be found in the company of wolves.

Lloth, Demon Queen of Spiders

       

Lloth is the Demon Queen of Spiders, in league with Venger, and is able to transform herself into a human. She tries to eat the Young Ones, but falls into the bottomless pit.

No Name

      

 "His name is not for your ears..." But he is the Force of Evil, travelling amongst many worlds, spreading Evil as he goes.

He is the Evil Master of Venger, and was accidentally summoned to the Realm early by Eric, and only left after he destroyed both Venger and DM (and the Young Ones too). Or at least he thought he did. Or, at least he thought that they thought he did.

But he will return!

The Nightwalker

       

A powerful Demon that kidnaps children from many different world to work as his slaves in the City at the Edge of Midnight, by holding back Time. He captured Ayesha, daughter of King Rhamoud, and eventually Bobby as well.

He was banished when Rhamoud and the Young ones destroyed the mechanism inside the clock tower of the city, enabling the clock to strike midnight and so releasing Time.

Syrith (Queen)

  

Syrith is the Queen of the City of Turad, and is half-demon. She ruled with an iron fist, imprisoning Kosar for ten years to insure that he could not end her reign during Starfall. When he tried to fight back, she destoryed him, but Diana took his place and freed the city of her evil by banishing her.

 

       
 
 

Three-Headed Man

 

The Three-headed Man frequents the Dragon-Tooth Tavern, and likes to play games of chance against unwary traveller. Obviously, he has a good head for a bargain, as he succeeded in conning Presto out of a Unicorn.

The five-headed Queen of the Dragons, and the only thing in the Realm that Venger is afraid of (do we blame him?).

Udar

 

   

Leader of the "Ground Gnomes" that lives in the Underworld as a slaves of Venger. He can shoot red Magic from his horns.

Warduke

 

    

A mercenary who runs the Slave Mines of Baramore and captured Dungeonmaster to sell to Venger. Last seen running for his life away from a river of molten lava.

Varen (King)

     

Intent on taking the Legendary Treasure of the Fairie Dragons for himself, Varen kidnapped the Fairie Dragon Queen, Tasmira and held her to ransom.

On the plus side, he did have a very nice castle, and an army, and can fly.

Zinn (Queen)

 

       

Userper of the throne of Zinn, Queen Zinn deposed her brother Lawrence by casting a spell that turned him into the creature Solarz, so he was forced to live in the forest. Unfortunately, to make the spell permanent, she had to wed, and she chose Eric to be her king. When her plan failed, the spell backfired on her.

She is served by two Shadow Stalkers.
